Because the lymphatic system doesn’t have its own pump like the heart, it relies on movement to function properly.

Lymphatic Compression Therapy is generally safe, but should not be used if you have:

  • Untreated high blood pressure (diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg)
  • Heart conditions or recent cardiac events
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or severe varicose veins
  • Peripheral arterial disease or stroke history
  • Cancer or malignant tumors
  • Acute inflammation, infections, or fever
  • Uncontrolled diabetes with recent highs/lows
  • Pregnancy or have recently given birth (< 3 months breastfeeding)
  • Undiagnosed lumps or symptomatic lung disease

We measure blood pressure before each session to ensure safety and tailor pressure settings to your current health status. If needed, we’ll coordinate with your provider to determine if Lymphatic Compression is appropriate for you.
